So I haven't shopped this past week.  But the other day I decided to stop in at Shopper's.  I was hoping to find the Multibionta vitamins in stock, so I could use my rain check.

Sure enough they were in stock.  I had three ten dollar coupons (that I printed from here) with me.  The rain check would make the vitamins $8.99.  So after my coupon they were FREE!!!  I just had to pay the taxes (90 cents for each box)

Off to Walmart we went today.  I printed off several LaCoupe coupons ( from here), since I wanted to take advantage of the deal.  The coupon is for $2 off any LaCoupe product.  The travel size items are $1.66 each - $2 coupon = 34cent credit toward my entire purchase.  Walmart has a policy if the value of the coupon is greater then the price of the item, they will apply the difference toward your overall bill.  I got 12, so my coupon overage was $4.08.  The mayo was just under $4, so essentially I got it for free!

I paid just under $14 for the following:

A 4L skim milk
Block of butter
Gauze
LaCoupe items
Bread
Olive oil Mayo

Had I paid full retail price my bill would have been over $41.

I definitely enjoyed getting my few small deals. :)

Missed deal, I hope to get soon

Last week at Sobey's they had strawberries 1lb clamshell for 99cents.  If you sign up for the Driscoll newsletter here, they will send you a 50cent coupon.  So after coupon it would be 40 cents for the 1lb clamshell.  When my sister went to purchase them for me while I was at work, Sobey's computers were down, so she got a raincheck. I will likely go tomorrow morning to pick up my strawberries :)

Otherwise this morning I spent some time looking for new coupons :)  .  Now it is time for my sister to order her coupons, so we can get even more great deals in the future. :)

Day one

Well,
Today I went out with the idea of looking for coupons at several different stores. I left home with a few deals I intended on purchasing, but I never thought I would find so many good deals. I only recently started collecting coupons and looking for those "extreme" deals.
I started out at Shoppers since there were two really good deals I wanted to get. Unfortunately one was out of stock, but I was able to get a raincheck :) .
From there I walked over to Safeway. I was on the hunt for any coupon tearpads, but instead found some good deals. My sister joined me, after I had called her, and we spent the next several hours looking for coupons and deals.
In the end we both walked away with some great deals.
Here are all my deals :)
