Day one

Well,
Today I went out with the idea of looking for coupons at several different stores. I left home with a few deals I intended on purchasing, but I never thought I would find so many good deals. I only recently started collecting coupons and looking for those "extreme" deals.
I started out at Shoppers since there were two really good deals I wanted to get. Unfortunately one was out of stock, but I was able to get a raincheck :) .
From there I walked over to Safeway. I was on the hunt for any coupon tearpads, but instead found some good deals. My sister joined me, after I had called her, and we spent the next several hours looking for coupons and deals.
In the end we both walked away with some great deals.
Here are all my deals :)

Shoppers
  • 24pk of Advil tablets on sale for $2.99- $2 coupon I printed off here = 99 cents
  • 30pack of Multibionta vitamins $8.99 or 60pack for $15.99- If you print off this $10 coupon you can get the 30pack for free or pay $5.99 for the 60pack. This item was out of stock, so I have a raincheck.
Safeway
  • B1G1 free on Arm and Hammer Laundry soap. $6.99 each before sale. I had $1.00 coupon from the most recent Redplum coupon insert. Cost for the two was $6 so just under $3 a bottle.
  • B1G1 free Hellman's salad dressing. $3.96 for two - $1.00 off coupon from recent Redplum insert= $2.96 for two or $1.48 each.
  • B1G1 free V8 splash. $3.99 for two- $0.50 x2 coupons from coupon insert yesterday = $2.99 for two or approx $1.50 each.
  • Purex cold water laundry soap on sale for $5.99 for 64 loads. Didn't have a coupon but is still a very good deal.

Walmart
  • Sunrype juice roll back to $2.67 - $1.00 coupon I printed off= $1.67
  • Gillette Body Wash $2.00 each, except taller one which was on sale for $3.77. Multiple coupons used toward these
    • 1. I had four coupons for $2.00 off any gillette body wash, which made my first four free!!!
    • 2. I had three coupons for $5.00 off any three gillette products. I used two with six of the small bottles $2.00 each x 3= $6.00 - $5.00 coupon = $1.00 or about $0.33 for each bottle. For the last coupon I had two small bottles ($2.00 x2 = $4.00) plus the large bottle $3.77 = $7.77 -$5.00 coupon= $2.77 or about $0.93 each bottle.
  • Lysol hand soap $14.98- $14.98 mail in rebate from yesterdays coupon insert = FREE :)
  • Secret deodrant on sale for $2.50 each. I had $1.50 coupon when two where purchased. $2.50 x2= $5.00 - $1.50 = $3.50 or $1.75 each. Original price for them were $3.12 so we were happy with that deal.
  • Shreddies and All bran were $2.97 and $3.97 each. I did not have a coupon but they each have nice coupons on the back, which is why I purchased them.
  • Crest toothpaste $0.88 each - $0.50 coupons = $0.38 a bottle ( not shown since sister purchased)
Superstore
  • Blue menu yogurt bars $6.98 but had 50% off ticket on each due to the box being damaged.
  • Skinny cow sandwiches Reg $7.98 on sale for $5.98 - $5.00 I had from a cereal box = $0.98 :)
  • Biobest yogurt drinks and yogurt Reg $6.99 on sale for $4.49 - $1.00 coupons I had from websaver (I believe) = $3.49 each. A good deal for yogurt cups and especially the yogurt drinks

Had I paid retail for everything I would had to pay $........,
My total without coupons would have been $..........
My total after coupons and rebates was $.......
